This program can start as early as 8 weeks of age to help you get on the right path for a balanced lifestyle with your companion.  Dog training is not magic it takes work, consistency and repetition. Having your dog on a protocol while we teach desirable behaviors will help lesson/extinguish undesirable behaviors such as chewing, house soiling, mouthing and more.

We are here to teach proper training techniques for the following commands: 

• “Heel” (walk politely next to/ slightly behind you.)

• “Place” (Lay calmly and quietly)

• “Come” (to you Short/Long distance)

• “Down/Stay (lay down until asked to move)

• “Sit/Stay” (at doorways before existing and stopping at your side on walks)

 

We will also address crate manners, leashing pulling, threshold manners, nipping and more.

This program is not designed for any dogs with behavioral issues. Please refer to our board & train program. 

​

 We require all dogs in this program to be current on vaccines such as Rabies and Distemper. 

 

 Sam’s K9 Training does not operate as a typical boarding kennel; spaces are limited and subject to approval.
